    2. after all or afterall?

    bah. the one word that grates my nerves and whatnot like no other is "irregardless"... it's not a friggin' word, but people use it left and right.

    without regard without? (ir+regard+less)

    An angel loses an eye socket each time that word is used.

    irregardless. not heard that one before. but yeah apparently it is a real word. sounds stupid though. doesn't annoy me like 'whatnot' though, but maybe that's because i haven't heard it before.

    what bugs me is 'disorientated'. it should be disoriented, surely?

    carly, trust me. that's a northeastern US thing... irregardless that is. whatnot... another one made famous by "gangsters" and Joe Pesci - and countless others.

    agree on disoriented... erm. wait. I don't say disorientated...
