    Wedding Dance tunes

Hey kids, since I look like an adult, people tend to ask me favors that they should know better than to...

So a work colleagie of mine is getting married, and she assigned me the task of preparing the Music list, some of the list has to be songs they can dance to, so reccomendations?

I vote for the chicken dance, but apparently she needs something romantic and all that

whatever, so reccomendations and Hurry up and I might post some pics of the bride's maids

    romantic:

when a man loves a woman by Percy Sledge, by NO MEANS USE SOME GOOFY MICHEAL BOLDEN COVER.

    angel by sarah mclachlan

unchained melody by the righteous brothers or u2.

for general music, can't go wrong with motown... well maybe you can for some people, but they don't have souls... so wether or not the are really people is debatable.

    You're in luck!

I just got married a month and a half ago and instead of hiring a DJ I hooked my iPod up to a stereo and it worked like a charm. Here was my playlist:

Always and Forever - Kip Dynamite
Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Ray Charles
Build Me up Buttercup - the Temptations
You Never Can Tell - Chuck Berry
    Hey Ya - Outkast
This Year's Love - David Gray
    Just Dance - Jamiroquai
Girl, You'll Be a Woman - Urge Overkill
    Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia) - US3
Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing) - Brian Setzer Orchestra
The Man in Me - Bob Dylan
Rubberneckin' - Elvis Presley/Paul Oakenfold remix
Love Rollercoaster - Red Hot Chili Peppers
    Sugar, Sugar - The Archies
All You Need is Love - The Beatles
Do You Love Me - The Contours
Jump Jive 'n' Wail - Brian Setzer Orchestra
Hollywood Swingin' - Kool & The Gang
Such Great Heights - Iron & Wine
    Ballroom Blitz - Sweet
    Woo Hoo - 5678's
    Yellow - Coldplay
Dance, Dance, Dance - The Bech Boys
Twist and Shout - the Beatles
I Wan You to Want Me - Cheap Trick
    Tiny Dancer - Elton John
Lets Get It Started - Black Eyed Peas
    My Sharona - The Knack
    Kokomo - the Beach Boys
    AM Radio - Everclear
Didn't I Blow Your Mind - The Delfonics
Baby Got Back - Sir Mix Alot
Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jet
    The Twist - Chubby Checker
    Crabbuckit - K-Os
Loves Been Good To Me - Frank Sinatra
I Saw Her Standing There - The Beatles
Baby, I Love Your Way - Peter Frampton

Try to make sure you have a slow song every 4-5 songs to give everyone a brak and so all the couples can have their dance.

    hope this helps!
