open an external file from a swf

How can i open a file (.doc, .pdf, etc) that a i put in a cd with the swf or projector, within the flashplayer? It seem this can;t be do it with fscommand exec because only launch .exe
or wher can i grab a copy of Flash Command Line Tools v5.0 the official web page seems outdated

This has been cover quite a bit basicly you need to create a bat or a com file and call it with fscommand exec but i found this

I am in exactly the situation as u were (to open a ppt from a flash exe, where both are in a cd).

U said, u could do it with flashgeek.zip. Whats "flashgeek.zip" and how did u manage the problem?
