    Scenes

OK, I am fairly new at Flash and have picked up the basics pretty quick. The first site I made turned out well. Now I've taken on another site and even mastered the "Drop Down Menu". But...now my scenes are not working for some odd reason. I have the buttons linked properly, I even checked! But for some reason, you click a button and they jump to random scenes.
Do the scenes have to be in a particular order or something? I think I may have mixed some up but does that matter? I hope thats the problem and it's easy to fix...someone PLEASE HELP!!!
    Thanks so much!

It can't be unless you coded properly,

    1. Check whether all your scenes have a stop() action in a frame.

2.And what sort of code you have given in each buttons !?

3.Are you given proper scene names and refering them properly in each button!?

Check your scene names, earlier tonight, I made a scene named "Generators", but in the code I wrote "generators". Once I capitalized the G, it worked fine. Guess scene names are case sensitive.

And, as hammer said, check for those stops, flash will go to next scene automatically if no stops.

    good luck
