Buying games is alright...
But i think that if there is going to be a monthly charge. It should be like free game download with like a 6 month subscription or SOMETHING...seems outrageous to pay more to me.

I don't mind paying for the game
Pay monthly? How much?
It's around $15 a month.
And it's well worth it. The game is amazing....yet very addictive. It's really not the type of game you'll play off an on, that is why i had to force myself to cancel the montly subscription, it will take over your life. You have been warned.
go buy it, W0W is teh R0x0rz!!11

Why do you max out at level 60? I remember Diablo I/II maxing out at 99
But it can be deceiving there could be a level 60 guy with say 10,000,000 ex points and doesn't even know and challenges a level 60 character but they have like 345,000,000 ex....why don't they just let the level # go up with ex and NOT max out the numbers...never got that.

cause people with no lives would be level 200 and the game is geared twords "casual" players.
allowing an unlimited amount of levels would imbalance the game and cause expansions to be worthless.

That's cool, but World of Warcraft is PC only.
I haven't played a game on my PC in years.

thats great and all but yeah like ad media says its not on teh xbox.. also throw in id neeed to drop 200-300 on the xbox, games, extra controllers, memory cards, i might end up spending more on just getting ready to play then i would a year of WoW.
not to mention if wow goes down for longer then normal periods we get free game time as a gesture of good faith. and it can cosot as little as $13 if you buy months in advance.
in china its something like a nickle an hour to play.

There's a lot more guts to WOW than there was to Diablo II. Diablo II was an excellent game, but if you remember, you would beat the game and only be around level 25, then you would go through the entire game again in a higher difficulty...beat it, and be maybe level 50, then you'd do it again at the highest level of diffuculty and finish it at maybe level 70. So you'd be completely done with the game...nothing at all left to do EXCEPT get your character to level 99 which took an ungodly amount of time doing the same runs over and over and over.
So in other words, Diablo II didnt have the depth...so they made up for it by setting the goal at level 99 to give the players something to play for. WOW doesnt need that because the game is so deep and expansive, and there will be expansion packs later on that might allow for higher level players...

imagination through stupidity
I was 89 on my last diablo II char. it did get really boring after a while.
I wouldn't play an online game just bacause i play games to rarely that it would end up paying for something i don't use enough to justify the expense. I played FFXII for a lil while then canceled after i found out that i had to pay for it every month.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to try it out...
I still don't see playing wow...
no game deserves a price tag and $15 a month outta my pocket.

I have slowed down considerably playing WoW. But I still pay the 15 a month so I can keep my chars. This game does take up a lot of time. With Diablo the "travel time" was very short, but with WoW it sometimes takes about 15 minutes to go from point A to point B. Thats where most of the time is spent.

speaking of RIT...RIT is actually in a suburb of Rochester called Henrietta. And to be more specific, it's in South Henrietta. So technically it's the S.outh H.enrietta I.nstitute of T.echnology. You figure out the acronym
