    yea, loyal rogue.

I am on the other coast. There are a few FKer's I know on the East Coast.
bah it's not even guarenteed to be a cat 1 H by the time it makes landfall... but ya never can tell with these things. After last year, this is nothing. Like I said though you never really know until it's over you, and direct hit from a CAT1 might be more devistating that a near miss from a CAT4 or 5.

Me and Vamps (St. Pete for me) are not going to get it as badly.

I hope the Thomas Edison house doesn't blow away.

Yep, I'm gonna get a direct hit this time.
Luckily it will only be a catagory 1 at the most when it passes over.
I've already got my shutters down and plants stowed in the garage.
Probably overkill but better safe than sorry.
It's already coming down in buckets and the weather report says to expect up to 15 inches of rain locally.

Well, back to getting work done while I can.

    good luck loyal.
gaston came in last years as a cat1, and ripped a bunch of my siding off.
    don't underestimate, though i know you won't.

    - totally jealous of your shutters btw...

i forget who does the naming, but i think it's the NOAA. HERE is the 6-year list. as you can see, there are english, spanish, AND french names on the atlantic storms list. this is to reflect the cultures affected by storms in the atlantic basin, some of which speak french. that's why you see gaston, gustav, and henri. there are lots of spanish names on those lists...

nah, it isn't a very strong storm and has to go accross the whole peninsula to reach me.... who knows with these things though, it could enter the gulf, stall out and cause problems....

I am going to go get some gas for our grill though.
