can't open swf

I have tried using several flash programs such as koolmoves and 3d flash animator4. I am able to make and view animations in the program but then when I export the file I can not open it back up. It says the file is not associated with a program even though I have the flash plug-ins. Any ideas on why this will not work?

no idea - but have you tried to just type the file:///path/to/your/movie.swf url in the browser?

BTW: this forum is completely wrong place - it is about the inner workings of swf files ... for people who want to create tools for swf creation and analysis

are you sure you have the Flash Player download from MacroMedia Installed?

Right click on a .swf file or whatever file you are trying to open,
on the popup menue choose "Open with" scroll down the submenu to "choose program" a larger menu will open showing all the programs that you have on your computer with the Recommended Programs at the top. Under the list is a box that you need to mark "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" Then click on the program you want to be associated with this type of file for opening. Click ok.
