Yeah..... I built that bike...it started life as a sportster.... I jjst ripped it apart...took out the engine split the cases...had it powder coated...built it back up the way I saw fit ...painted it... all done. VERY VERY easy to do with a sportster.. how big of a guy are ya? (no pun intended)... just wondering what kind of bike would fit you best.

A motorcycle would be the last thing i'd get on if i'd been hit twice by light runners. That's immediate death. I'd be buying myself a tank over a chopper if that happened to me.

lefteye its people like you that choose life and a tank over people like gerbs that chooses bad ass choppers and almost certain death, are the reason gas is so expensive.

Insurance is mandatory in NJ.

yeah, I don't get it. California can only used refined fuels from 3 PACIFIC COAST AREA refineries. Why the hell is our prices increasng? Just a general screw the entire country?

It goes deeper than that. After the 4 hurricanes in Florida last year, my brothers boss was told that his insurance for the buildings he owns was going up. They weren't kidding either, the premiums went way up. Why? he asked....
Because of all the damage done in Florida last year. And this kind of thing was supposed to me against the law. I heard it discussed last year when the question came up.
I'm predicting that this house of cards is going to come tumbling down real soon. You can't have every industry tied in with every other industry to the point when one goes, they all go. It's idiocy.
-
EVPohovich, simple. Since the East coast relies on the gulf refineries, and since those are offline, it needs fuel from refineries that are running. That means that CA prices go up as the east coast siphons off some fuel and reduces your supply.

Then YOUR prices should go up.....our fuel regulations are the highest in the union, it's only fair that you pay more for our fuel.
