some images load...others don't...frustrated!

Ok, I am working on a site for a client that is completely dynamic...it is for a photographer who wanted a dynamic slideshow on the homepage and dynamic galleries that are XML based...It's pretty much done now, but we're having a problem with some pictures not loading...its really strange...the site is at www.davidquisenberryphotography.com and the gallery in question is 'personal'...the first image loads, but 2-5 don't...It's not an AS error because it's just those specific images, the images are:

can someone tell us what is wrong with these pictures? But here's the funny thing about it...I am using the new Flash 8 player, and they load fine for me...but they won't load using Flash 7.... Strange? I think so... It's been frustrating us for 2 days now...It just doesn't seem logical....So can someone please take a look at these images and tell me why they don't work so we can fix them?

Most likely you saved these jpegs with progressive encoding. The Flash player cannot load jpegs with progressive encoding. Open these files in Photoshop, go to Save For Web..., then be sure to remove the check mark from the Progressive option.

i knew that, i told him to do that...maybe he doesnt know what that means? haha, i dont know, ill have him give me the images, and ill resave them, then give them back and see what happens...but it's weird that the new flash 8 player loads them...maybe it allows loading of external progressive jpegs? maybe i found a new feature of it! haha

Flash 8 does allow loading of progressive jpgs and png's too.

Well that's a nifty feature...external pngs...i like that... And by the way...they were progressive jpegs, i got him all fixed up now...his default Photoshop setting was Progressive for some reason...
