    Interesting Sky Color

I went outside to capture this strange color in the sky earlier this evening. These are untouched Raw to Jpeg.

There was thunder and lightning shortly after these were taken... no rain though.

Thanks guys, maybe you can help me out with something... this is driving me insane!

At first I though it was the yellow background affecting the color of these photos, but I just did an experiment that makes no sense to me. The color is different in Photoshop vs. a web browser. So I made a screenshot for you to see a side by side comparison of Photoshop and browser... photoshop is on the right, browser is on the left.

    check the comparison
Browser on the Left, Photshop on the Right...

I guess photoshop rendering the color differently than the browser makes sense, but how can I take a screen shot of this side by side and it shows the difference IN THE BROWSER???

I knocked these up a few years ago to help someone and they're still on my server

Photoshop handles colour how you tell it to, setting it to 'no colour management' should solve your 'problem' (as in... some people like it like that )

    That's it robb!

I have always used it 'off'.. I guess when I installed CS I ignored it and it took me this long to realize it. You saved me. That makes a huge difference IMO.

Actually that the one Nords liked too... Sorry I switched the order unintentionally when I redid them without the Color Management.

No lightning shots. I got dark very shortly after these were taken. Would have been cool though. It wasn't like bolts though, mostly just thunder and some light behind the clouds. I would like to get some lightning shots some day though being that I live in 'the lightning capitol of the world'. I just don't have enough guts to stand out there with my tripod as bolts are cracking around.
