    Will flash for food.

My experience when it comes to domain hosting services is that you get what you pay for. My partner does domain hosting at a rate of $25.00 per month. If you are interested in knowing more about our hosting solutions, you can either email me, fishee@twofishmedia.com or my partner, rich@dreamscapers.com

    Hi Nano!

    At:
    http://www.directnic.com/
you can get your .net .com .org domain name for $15 a year...
if you can stand their ygly as sh** banner you can get a fre .com .net.org name at http://namezero.com

-------about directNic...is anybody here at the board using it?...is it smooth or does it have any major dissadvantages one shold know about?...I've tried to check it out and it seems ok but one never knows at that price...---------

    cheers!

I have used http://www.addr.com for about 2 years and have had hardly any problems plus they are really cheap if you pay for a year in advance. Support is good and accivation is right away.
Don't be put off by there website looking mediocre...they offer a lot of good features and good customer support which is super important.

    Thanks a lot you guys!

Your repsonses really helped me. I have been looking for a hosting service for a while. That 15 dollar per year one looks pretty interesting, but i will research. One last question however, do you know if all of the hosting setvices, automatically support flash 4 and shockwave. Thanks agian. And dont worry bout the grammar Guru...

    Nano!

directNic only provides domain names...you have to get your web space from elsewhere...but there are plenty web-space providers around...so you can choose wether you wanna host asp or cgi...etc

but $15 is really cheep so you'll afford a quick and reliable web space provider too...

(I'm starting to sound like I work for directNic:-)
    ...whitch I don't ...I haven't even signed up yet...)

    good luck!

    Post Hey Nano!!!

I have also used addr.com they are pretty good and really cheap. I have not used them for a high bandwidth site ywet though. I have just put up an e-commerce site there and it should grow. Hope this helps.
