    design opinion

    I am a web designer in phoenix, az. I have a client who is not a designer, but thinks he is. Anyway, I want to know which of these two designs you like, and maybe a quick why (I wont tell you which is mine and which is the clients). I want to be able to tell my client x number of people like a or b.

    This will be a flash / PHP cms hybrid site.

    B - looks more professional too me - Alot easier on the eyes - and better layout (Hope "B" is yours... lol)

    The Clients is B (just kidding) I like B. A looks like (don't tell the client) unprofessional crap. Two menu bars is not right.

    I like B way better. Design A’s color pallet is to muted, and the design doesn’t have a hierarchy.

    i dont know why but i think that A is better. although it lacks a professional touch, the shapes forming the interface is very creative/ nice.

    i think that A is a bit exceptional/special, however B is professional but ordinary.

    Ok' i'll revise my post. I like A, but the color scheme is horrible in my opinion. The double navigation rows may cause a few problems with lower screen resolutions also.

    change the colors up and try and get the format to not horizontal scroll at 800x600 and I would go with A.

    As it sits, B has a functional albeit common look and feel.

    i think none of them are good. neither have any connection to churches, they seem to corporate.

    A is more creative
    B is more practical

    both have points that could be used, therefore rather than argue with the client, bring your ideas together. That way you keep your intergrity, and he gets to contribute.

    Both designs are template-like. B has a less complicated menu.
