Thread: No sound from Flash files

    No sound from Flash files

    HELP!! All my Flash sound is gone. No sound from Flash sites and no sound from Flash files all of which worked a day ago. I installed the new Flash 8 player and still no sound, what have i wrought here? The only changes to the OSX is an addition of a Griffin iMic. I disconnected that but I still have no sound from Flash files and ONLY Flash files. All other sound works fine. Yesterday I had burned a CD with a Flash projector on it, today it has no sound.

    MacMini 80gb 1.42m running 1gb ram, dvd burner OSX 10.3.9

    Any ideas out there??

    Have you checked your output settings in sound preferences? Also try listening with headphones from the sound output socket, might narrow down the problem.

    I dont know if this has been discussed again but i have the exact same problem on my imac i just bought. no sound at all even when I use flash mx theres no sound. i tried what you said bigginge but nothing works. Did you find a solution bczar1??? or anyone have advice?
