    New camera + Beach

    Took these on my new Pentax ist Ds

    Both f32 and 32mm

    2 seconds

    crazy beaches there....ours have sand!
    the first one is cool. both seem to be off in their exposure though...

    Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

    hehe, it's a bit further out from the beach itself which strangely does have sand

    where did the guy at the end of the rocks dissapear to in the b&w one????
    it was a person wasn't it?

    that's what i really liked about that one

    It's magic

    I wanted to see how it looked without him as someone suggested that the photo gives a feeling of isolation. Turned out I preferred it this way. You can always see it here

    there is a noticable dent in the horizon where you have removed the person, it shouldn't be to hard to fix though.

    doesn't matter now...they both look great!
    i think they originally looked flat to me. maybe it was contrast, not exposure.
    again, doens't matter now...

    Thanks ctranter I actually never noticed that until you mentioned it. Will fix it up in the full res version.
