here's gangstawar, a flash fighting game that we just finished, and i think it turned out quite well.

****** MAIN FEATURES ******
** play with an insane amount of 1'682'903'040'000 different fighters (!!)
** choose between 50 different weapons, including swords, shurikens, rifles, shotguns, chainsaws, baseball bats, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, grenades etc...). you can hold 2 of them during a fight, and of course switch them easily
** alternate kick and punches attacks to create interesting chained attacks and combo enders...
** flips are respected! when your character flips and hold a weapon in his left hand, it goes into his right hand. same for every costume/item that you wear if they need to.
****** LIMITATIONS ******
the game we are currently linking is limited to a computer versus computer fight, so there's no way to play, just watch. if you want to play the real game (it comes with a full featured site where you can customize yourself your fighter, buy items, weapons and outfits, and of course challenge the other players to get money, PM them etc...) you'll need to wait i'm afraid.
now i see why development of other things dragged so long ..
anyway,feedbackwise:
-i think you forgot to embed the font below the loading bar as it shows as times new roman
-the ai acts dumb now and then (for example kicks or punches although the enemy is far away or does attacks in air (jumping straight upwards) although enemy is standing)
presentation is excellent, i like it
I know it's prolly too late in the day, but could the energy bars have your players face next to them, moot point I know ( It's looking that good that splitting hairs is the only thing left to do ).
Really sweet man, love the details. Sound effects for the different weapons, shell casings stay on the ground, facial expressions during different moves and while getting hit... I could go on.
In the title, does it say "Gangstabars" or "Gangstawars" ? The "W" looks like a "B" :P

actually i admit that the AI has its flaws
of course i can always improve it more, i'm not really satisfied with the whole gun plays to be honest. those are the less interesting weapons of the game IMO (although i love the triple rocket launcher, heh). the client wanted a game where the player always points the weapon toward the enemy, and when it fires, the opponent is immediately hit/protected, without any bullet visual... i think it's a bit more interesting that way...

haha, the lifebar stuff is probably too late yes. but we never know, if the client wants some updates, i... might...
well, of course hairs that are longer than the shape of the head are split when you wear some hats or masks... it might happen that some hats are just a small bit too little, and sometimes we notice several pixels of the hairs or the mask. i probably need to make some hats a bit bigger (and no, i'm not going to cut batman's hears ^_^ )

and yes, i will not post the complete version of the game here or in my site, though it's done... you'll have to play it on its real site when it will be finished. but that site is not my job ^_^
