There are some good examples in the program itself. And there are a few tutorials in a sticky thread at the top of the forum. Otherwise just ask

When asked "how can I get to Carnegy hall" the famous muician answered "Practice, Practice, Practice."

Start by looking at the example games. Then try creating something simple, then learn from that and do it again. All the while asking specific questions about what you've tried and want to do.

I've found the 3d part of 3dfa to be pretty useless myself. If you attempt to do anything more than a simple static 3d the file size becomes huge. I also found it to be difficult to use but then again I don't do 3d stuff so I don't really understand it well.
