TAB between movieclips

Hi there,
been searching through the forums looking for help with this...no joy so far!!!

I have say 5 main movie clips / buttons in my movie.

Two of these movie clips have on/off keyframes - on the 'on' keyframe they have dropdown style buttons.

If I tab through the main movie, it tabs through the 5 main movieclips/buttons, BUT i want to tab to one of these movieclips, jump to the on frame of that clip, then tab through the dropdown buttons. Once through the buttons - that movie clip will close and I will then tab to the next movieclip on the main timeline and so on...

does this make sense?

Have tried a load of solutions, but nothing seems to work.

an example might be the tab style on the macromedia site, whereby the user tabs to the first main menu item, then is able to tab the sub menu items, before going onto the next main menu item ... and so on.

Just notice a fault in the macromedia site top menu also...

Works fine untill you click something on the menu.

If you click something on the menu, then go back and try tabbing through the menu again, the sub menu items do not tab!!!!

Is this a common problem in flash? must be if macromedia cant sort it out.

Or am i missing something?

no ideas?
tried almost everything, but no joy - does anyone know if flash 8 has sorted this? going to check out next couple of days
