    Searching child nodes

    Hi,
    I just got a problem with trying to search child nodes in an XML file the code in the XML file is
    HTML Code:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <kanji>
    <0001 name="Person" photo="Kanji_0001.swf">
    	<person>
    	</person>
    </0001>
    <0002 name="One" photo="Kanji_0002.swf">
    	<one></one>
    </0002>
    </kanji>
    Now when i set up a function to search for kanji I can search but only for the 0001..0002...etc nodes and not the child nodes.. is there a way around this? Or do i have to setup two different XML files and search each one in turn?
    Any ideas or advice would be great. and just let me know if you want me to post my actionscripting aswell

    You will find the 0001 and 0002 nodes have childnodes just link the original document does, you simply need to loop or use recursive functions to step down through the xml tree.

    Thanks
