To help people try out different ways of "ricing" their GUIs...

I remember posting a thread at another forum quite a long time ago regarding desktop modificatins, themes, enhancements, widgets, and the like. It's quite outdated since I posted it over a year ago. I can't find the thread.

I think we could organize a list too! So if you have any links, please post them and I'll add them to a running list. Most of these will probably be for Windows XP. Let's try to keep most of these freeware if possible. But of course if there is a commercial product absolutely cool, post it too! I'll list some off the top of my head to start off.

YZ Dock had to be discountinued due to some lawsuit with Apple (or rather Apple told them to stop and they **** themselves

)

Linking to it would be borderline warez, but it is out there

Not 100% sure on that one... I belive they stopped development, but its still available out there, so its not warez... more like abandonware, so its ok to post it... feel free to correct me though

Whats so good about YZ Dock? the only thing i dont like about ObjectDock is the fact that it doesnt hide itself.

What are the differences? Can you provide a step-by-step instructions in changing the look of your desktop, e.g. which ones you need, etc.

because its cool to hate windows but still use it. If you have read 1984 you know that its quite ok to have two conflicting opinions.
