I have uninstalled, reinstalled, redownloaded, checked for spyware/viri NOTHING!

sure your mouse isn't the culprit? I just had to install new mouse drivers because of something similar on my PC after some updates... MS Mouse in fact.

Mine really liked to do th at; it's quit, but still likes to jive in the Bookmarks menu. All I have to do is use the wheel-scroll to make it stop.

Hmmm... I do have an MS mouse, i'll give that a try althought the wheel hasn't worked in months.

Only seems to be Firefox too

Seriously... it was only Firefox here too. Firefox captures the mouse wheel in some archaic manner that's ultra-annoying or something.

    Yup extention called RIP.
Just go to your upgrades and there's a list of all the different things you can install.
When you rightclick on something theres an option to "remove this permanently" It will highlight the thing you want removed and just click!
Tada!!! Now whenever you load a specific url the ads/ useless stuff is GONE!!! FOREVER!!!
No more waiting for banners to load!!!
    Fun!!!

But better, as it allows you to remove cells from tables, iframes... all sorts!

Maybe you could give us the URL of the site that is screwing up and we can point out all the problems in the html/css/ cr ppy javascript etc..

    please refer to
http://www.w3.org if you need help on understanding what a real web browser is.
