    loadVariablesNum not working in IE

    hi
    loadVariablesNum not working in IE but is in Netscape.
    javascript not working in IE but is in netscape.
    dont know what to set IE to stop this

    Have you tried using LoadVars () instead of the loadVariablesNum? If that dont work either it must be a setting in your IE or something wrong with the way the flash file is embedded into html which is being viewed by IE.

    Hi I am being told its flash player 8 that is causing me this problem.
    how does one go about fixing the issue without just shipping a copy of the player 7 with my stuff? (which is really a naff option)

    ps: loadnumbersvar() post to php defunct, getURL() to javascript in html defunct, shared objects dodgey loactions ( 2 instead of 1 occasionally) and access to cdrom weird.

    what is it with the security on this thing?
