EVP, great pictures! really amazing that there is a huge difference between these two and yet it is a short distance between the two.

E - it's funny that we live 3000 miles apart but have the same problem - pine and live oaks! great shot though. i am starting to see a slight change in a few trees around, so hopefully i'll have something soon (maybe - it'll be in the 80s all week).

Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

    that's cool littlematt

out of interest, did you set that up or was the leaf there already?

    blurry background works well.

grass looks frosty- was that this morning by any chance? the fields opposite my flat were totally covered in a white crispy frost. looked really pretty

    Thanks

The leaf was already there – however I did add the blur in photoshop (lil’cheater). I’m still waiting to get my dSLR, so for the mean time I’m using an automatic compact for all my shots, which means I can’t change aperture, shutter speed etc.

Yeah took it this morning on the way to work.

I love the frost. Somehow it feels very English.

Being a photographer has really made me appreciate how I see the world. I no longer take the different lighting and textures for granted. What looks like a old brick wall with leaves and moss to one person, is a potential beautiful photograph to me.

It's so nice to notice these images when I'm walking and driving. I make a mental note to myself that I can photograph that scene later.

My digital camera has really caused me to see the world in a fresh, dynamic way!
