Nested Movie Clip Question
Very Basic Question I am sure.
I have a movie clip of a ball fading quickly.
I have inserted the movie clip into a frame on my main timeline and what I am trying to achieve is for the moviclip to get executed and play through as the main timeline keeps moving along. With what I have now, when the main timelin hits the frame where the movie clip is, it just plays the first frame of the movie clip and keeps truckin. How can I get my movie clip to play through as the main timeline moves along as usual?

Hmmm
Does your timeline HAVE to keep moving?
If not, you can put a stop(); action on that frame for that movieclip to finish its animation, and then at the end of the animation put a gotoAndPlay(); to continue on down the timeline

Ideal
It's ideal for it to keep rolling, but if there is no easy way to accomplish what I am trying to do I might just have to find a way.

It might help others to fix your problem if you write out what exactly your trying to accomplish , that why someone might know an easier and faster way of doing so
Saves us from asking questions

?
"How can I get my movie clip to play through as the main timeline moves along as usual?"
Not quite sure how to clarify that any further?
Would the phrase "in a continuous movement" preceding the ..as usual... help?
Sorry if it was too vague.

Well for example, does your movieclip HAVE to be in your movieclip?, whats happening in the time line that it has to keep moving
Is it not possible for you to put the animation thats in the movieclip on the time line so it plays through as the timeline moves along?
