    Victorian architecture

    I want to share this photo of the Westminster Arcades in Harrogate/Yorkshire...built some 150 years ago

    I love old buildings that have shops etc. inside them, but keep the feel of the old building...

    Like the wooden escalators in Macy's

    I would have exposed on the skylight, then on the stairs and merged the two for perfect, all round exposure... much like this image by Ctanter

    Rob..I wanted to give it a mystic effect as I could hear the breath of the centuries...
    I have been living in England in the early 70's and black walls and fog and smell caused by the open fires is what I associate with England.
    I tried to put all this into the photo...maybe I have overdone something here.
    Appreciate your comment though

    I agree with you about the escalators at Macy's...any idea how to save their clattering wooden sound on a photo?
