i want to apologize in advance for suggesting such a 'boring' theme, but we hadn't done it yet and i think it's a valuable exercise for those of us still learning. have fun!
Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

In that case.
I think the first one is a little boring, it lacks any specail lighting or features to make it stand out, and the wire cutting diagonaly across the bottom is distracting.
The light in the second one is nice, and the siluhette of the mill is nice too, but the fence and wire sort of clutters up the foreground leaving the pic with no real point of focus.
That saying they are by no means bad photos.
I sound mean

I was up north in Dornoch on Friday but I only had my phone.
Managed to snap this shot where the sky in the background was a dull mid-tone and some sun came through the clouds behind me onto the sand giving it a nice even exposure, score!

True, and as I rarely crop my photos I struggled with wether or not to post that particular one. The sky won out in the end though.

I have one without the fence and it just looks too boring. I like the old feel the fence brings to the photo.
I am by no means untouchable and I welcome all of your comments. Please feel free to critique my work any time, I like all of you, am still learning here. Thanks ct.....
...and nords for aiming him at my arse

i still think the second one is hot E.
it does seem like the fence is a tad blurry, but other than that i like it.

soz about the stupid question,im a TOTAL photography newbe, what do you use for those 360 degree pics? they are really cool.

dudeqwerty
The minimum requirement is just a camera and a image editor like Photoshop so you can assemble the images you have taken. I take 4-8 images to get all 360 ( depending on how complicated the ground or ceiling/sky is ). The amount of images needed depends on what lens you have. With a wide angle or fisheye you need less, as these lenses cover more.
