    Hi Everyone! (please read)

    Hi, Andrew here.

    I'm new to flash production but not new to flash in general and I REALLY want to start making games and animations. Do you all have any programs that you suggest? I'm looking for free programs also. I would appreciate any other tips if you have any! Thanks!

    The only program you really need to make flash games is Macromedia Flash. Which version you get depends on how much money you want to spend and what type of features you want. Flash 8 is the newest version with Flash MX 2004 right behind it. Both of these programs are not free though and will cost you a little bit.

    3D Studio Max, Maya, Visual Studio, what's else.... may be Flash will be good

    ....kidding man

    You need Flash at your starting point. Later you'll see what else you can use to be more productive

    get yourself Soudforge or something like that to edit sound/music, because you don't do that within flash. Then just import the final cut.

    I am just thinking now that actually :

    I do my websites in...flash
    my design in............flash
    my games in............flash
    standalone app in.....flash


    gee this flash thing is really a app killa...
    Hope nobody knows I am still on Flash 5

    There are three things you will need in order to learn how to make games:

    1)Flash
    2)Tutorials
    3)Flashkit!

    With those three things, you will learn it in no time =D
