MOVIE CLIPS and their EVIL WAYS! :-)

Hi guys, I know im still a newbie, but I am keen on learning and problem solving all the time. Ive tried to get this to work for the past 7 hours now. Ive refrained from coming here earlier without having tried many different techniques, and tutorials first.

Heres is my problem from hell :-)

I have a main movie... the movie finishes loading, I then call upon an external movie clip.

Now let me just describe that external movie clip file.

It is Text, with a flash scrollbar to the side.

When I call that "Text with a scrollbar" Movie clip into my scene, it comes up... but the scrollbar is DEAD- no longer functions... Please, for the salvation of my sanity, why is it not working?

Becasue your target is no longer the main movie or level 0 but is now level 1 or 2, or 3. etc. Your scroller is targeting level 0 so you need to adjust it in the script. Regards, Bill
