    Photo effect not working - Grey hairs rapidly appearing

    Hi all -
    Spent all weekend on this and am stuck. I told myself I'd wait until monday before asking for help.

    I'm trying to add the effect to the button. Can't seem to get it. The effect happens immediately on load, and not on button press. I'm sure it is a simple 2 sec fix for someone, but I pulled out all my grey hairs and now am bald

    Help is appreciated.

    just looking quickly.. you have not declared a value for val anywhere in this chunk of code:
    Code:
     myColorTransform.ra = 100;
    	myColorTransform.rb = val;
    	myColorTransform.ga = 100;
    	myColorTransform.gb = val;
    	myColorTransform.ba = 100;
    	myColorTransform.bb = val;
    	myColorTransform.aa = 100;
    	myColorTransform.ab = val;
    Please DO NOT PM me simply for individual help. Post in the public forums...that's what they are for, and they allow others to benefit as well. - Thx

    var rate:Number = 20;

    function setColorTransformation( val:Number ) : Object

    It works fine, once, but not upon button press...
    The effect only happens once, not for every picture
