I had to come up with an ad idea for something not commonly known about the new xbox. I would like to see others ideas.

What do you want people to do? Make up advertisments for the xbox?

Blaze, yeah sure use fireworks. But, there's also a similar program to photoshop which is free, yes legal and free. I have yet to try it, but i hear it's pretty good.

Ug, Gimp. Fireworks is much better, stick with that. In fact, I like Fireworks much better than PS personally :-)

It's just a different way of doing things. I learn PS way before I even knew what FW was for... and PS is much more 'powerful' in many regards, but I love FW's Illustrator-like object based interface, as opposed to PS's bitmap approach. And FW Live Effects: ya just can't beat applying a gaussian blur to a vector object without flattening it, and going back later to adjust the blur For web/interface design I find FW much more flexible and elegant than PS, but for photo manipulations, PS is much more powerful I guess.
