    Simply orgasmic..
    Can you give us an explanation of the script you used in the presentation Makulaf, I think it would be great for everyone to understand it. (I mean the copied script in your publication), Apart from that it's great.

    all you really have todo to hide/take away (when you do it this way no matter how long your text,etc is the sliders will not show up) is make lines.

    69
    70

    a comment by add the 2 // forward marks (the lines will trun gray)

    the one in the presentation

    and "desgin" is actually spelled as "designed"

    Makulaf,, this isn't a dig,, more of a push. If you want people to take you seriously in your enterprises... then learn to bloody spell. Your grammar is diabolical and it will put people off contracting your services. Honestly,, double check what you put online and correct it,, it not only gives a good laugh to the people who know you but it also scares away the people who don't. Don't get the wrong end of the stick here,, I'm not ganging up on you,, it's really serious advice and I honestly think you should try to deal with it.

    I like it. I am a big fan of video tutorials. Gotoandlearn.com has some nice ones.

    One minor thing--your voice drops down a lot when you are doing some moves, almost as if you are talking to yourself. This seems to happen on routine stuff you might assume the viewer knows how to do. Still, I think you should project your voice to the back row of the audience all the time.

    As for ideas, I think videos are really great at showing the user interface. So I could imagine a whole series of these for beginners. I looked at Tivity (or is it Xtivitiy) which is a Flash editor linked tightly to Photoshop. Their home page has a lot of these tutorials showing the product. Very effective for introducint the basics. But I could also see more advanced topics being covered, too. Lee Brimelow of gotoandlarn seems to include tutorials of all levels.

    It's a great idea. Keep it up.

    Good job Drew! Being a new user of Kool Moves your tutorial clarified a couple of things for me. Jim's idea about the user interface is good. More video tutorials about the newer features would be good. I think having Peter's updated User Guide and some of your video tutorials would be a help to all users of Kool Moves.

    Good job! I would turn up the mic that you used.

    No clue where Makulaf is but that tutorial shows if you place a contentpane onstage, right click it and hit "Edit Movie Clip Frames", you can edit the actions on frame 1 to comment out ( // ) these 2 lines:

    //this.attachMovie('KC8_Slider','vs',3,{_x:this.widt h-19,_y:0,length:this.height-19,c:this.c,s:this.s});
    //this.attachMovie('KC8_Slider','hs',4,{_x:0,_y:this .height-19,length:this.width-19,horizontal:true,c:this.c,s:this.s});

    I understand newer builds may have the option to hide both but Wilbert would know for sure.

    The next KM version will have the ability to autoHide both scrollbars of a contentpane and to autoHide the scrollbar of a listbox / combobox.
    Registered 5.1 users who need it may beta test these features if they want to.
