damn it. whats a guy to do with warm fuzzy feelings?
thank you, thank you and thank you.
he definitely is tiny. when he was first born he looked like a little Mr. Burns. after looking at him for a week, i noticed a full-term baby in the NICU that looked like a freakin giant. but, he has gone from 3 pounds in that picture to nearly 6 now. filling out fast.
not to go overly afterschool on everyone but ill say what everyone always says. its indescribably amazing to become a parent. its like theres a part of you that exists but is only unlocked when you have a kid. pretty crazy to recognize your features in another little being. /afterschool

congrats as well... had my first February of '04 he was abotu 3-4 weeks early as well... 6.8 lbs or something if I remember..
Nothing liek it in the world!! Totally recommended! All I can say to you is www.babycenter.com no sh*t! you sign up for that thing..you get an email everyday abotu development...things your child is going through or will be..or "SHOULD" be...so you can see and plan your childs development. I have search for symptoms when he was sick..a REAL life saver...
Plus you get coupons and deals. If you can help it..do NOT even start him on a "nook"
They grow fast man...crawling and wanting to be on your computer before you know it. LOL.. I recommend the "NOGGIN" channel... as well as www.noggin.com for educational computer learning...

i guess i'll be the first (shame on you all) to say that i hope indivisionGAL is doing OK.
other than not getting sleep, these first few months are comparatively easy.

??? why, do bury it under an oak tree?
maybe you are talking about 'cord blood', which is a great source for stem cells.

Wow. Congratulations dude, glad everything was good in the end. Premature births can sometimes be a real stress. Lil' guy looks like he made it just fine.
I miss little things.....I still can't walk past itty bitty shoes in the store without giggling. Enjoy man! The change is a good thing, don't fight it.

Because he was pre-mature, he had to be in the NICU for a couple weeks (hence the wires, etc). But, he's 100% healthy, has since been brought home and has already gained well over a pound in less than two weeks.
This is a first for me so I am looking for all the father advice I can get!
Joe, that's awesome. Congrats. My oldest was 9lb 6oz, so ((3*Liam) == Owen).
My two bits of advice:
1. All the cliches are true. They do grow too fast, it's the hardest thing you will ever do any yet you wouldn't trade it for anything, and how come nobody told you how fun being a parent was?
2. Everything and anything you ever did before 11/3 didn't mean a thing. Life starts now.
Congrats. That's awesome.
