Okay, I have a php site that has a flash block made by someone else who seems to have left me pretty much on my own.

Here is my question. Can I only edit .fla files with a macromedia program? Or is there other programs out there to use besides that one very expensive program?

I think only flash can edit an fla file. If anything else can, I haven't heard of it.
