question about the "test movie" function

    hey guys,

i was assigned a project to create a dvd video for a company. so far, it's great. i'm synching most of the animation with the music, so i use "test movie" to check out how im doing.

the problem comes when I'm now 2 minutes into development, and it takes me 2 minutes just to GET where i want to be to preview my movie. can i just skip to that part without causing the background music to "catch" or delay?

i'd like to have more control on where i can start the previewing of my flash file, basically. any help would be great

Possibly setup movie controls like fast forward for testing the animation then remove them for the final product.
    I don't have answers.
