i know its flash or video but how was it done

I think its a very good animator at work or it could indeed be part video ... im not totally sure. I like the effects a lot, but i do think that page has a bit too many of them

My guess is that the skateboarder was filmed in front of a blue screen and that video taken into a program such as Premiere or Final Cut where the background was knocked out. If you have the software, it's really not that difficult to do. It's similar to the way they do weather reports on TV.
