I say every so often, someone should just up the brightness abit b4 saving.
I think it's a far better idea for everyone to make sure they preserve the colors to the best of their ability to get the best results.

I would suggest everyone make sure the following option is checked on the Color Settings dialogue which can be found under the Edit menu. Then be sure to open the saved image from your hard drive as opposed to copying and pasting.

While we're talking about it, I made this quick image for reference. Pull this into Photoshop and make sure you can see the whole range from black to white. It's going to get a little fuzzy towards the ends of the spectrum, but you need to be able to clearly distinguish a full, rich black (not washed out and grey-ish) and a bright, pure white.

If things don't look right then you need to adjust your monitor using it's built-in settings and/or a color manager like Adobe Gamma that has a wizard that will help you calibrate your monitor correctly. I used to use Adobe Gamma but right now I'm using the controls built into the ATI Catalyst Control Center that came with my graphics card. However you go about it, just make sure your monitor is calibrated to display correctly in addition to using Photoshop's color management settings for individual documents.

    Nice work.
I don't understand how it can still make it darker, I saved it to my HD and I also changed the settings so the profile mismatch option was on.
Maybe its different in PS CS?

This version is mostly just color adjustments on the grass slope and some of the darker buildings. I also gave DaVulf his tower beacon back and made the 'banned' banner text more legible.
