I've been watching this development from the depths of the FK shadows and so far, I have some input. This isn't to downplay the original idea at all, because it's very fun and is getting everyone to contribute!

Things that don't seem to work very well:

-The graded sky slowly accumulated some strange compression artifacts since the very first version that was very smooth. However, to the non-perfectionists' eyes, this may or may not be an issue.

-There is like 50000% more aerial space than ground space, hence the major population of **** in the air as opposed to buildings and the like.

-There just simply is not a ton of space for people to contribute without congesting ideas and images and making the scene rather chaotic. Maybe that's no so bad, I don't really know.


Some suggestions for an FK Pixel Town ver. 2:

-If taking place on earth, originate platforms or varied levels of ground for contributers to easily set up their piece of the metropolis, and creating a more dignified community.

-Maybe make it take place in space! Or on a distant planet, or even on the sun. A setting like this may be less constraining for those of you with obvious extremes of creativity that are apparent in your little creations on the confines of Earth and it's natural laws.

-Perhaps an FK Pixeltown rollCanvas?

ooohh nice. Someone mentioned before that this image should extend after it has reached its peak, i vote yes for that idea. And I kinda like the clutter, makes it interesting to look at. And yes somewhere down the track an image was jpeg'd a little, i don't know who it was though.

This compression thing is close to impossible to fix, but i'm gonna try.

-Jpeg compression fixed (no more dots)
-Sky is now one colour (simpler)
-Check the previous image before you add on to it, if its jpeg'd then yell out.
-png file is now below 100kb

(if anyone finds problems with their images, i'm sorry, i tried my hardest to fix the compression dots, fix any errors in your next volley)
