Malee, when you fixed the the canvas last time it messed up the explosion that the airplane is shooting at. Also, can someone fix the ufo?

That's pretty cool DaVulf, you've got all those broad flat-colored surfaces, though. If I were to make a suggestion it would be to try to add a little more detail in those areas. Also a little shading would give it a much more 3D appearance. Just a thought.

I totally agree. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that. The majority of these tutorials that I've read seem to assume that you have an artistic mind, and can draw freehand. I possess neither of these .

I really like what you guys have come up with so far, I just think we need more buildings .

i think we should either work on enlarging the canvas, or changing the way its setup before it gets any more complex.

photo manips require just as much as this.

However this is much simpler, just get some pixles.

my advice is to find a picture of what you want to make, and then try to re-create it on a smaller scale... but dont listen to me i suck, that rocket pack guy started out as spiderman.

I liked the idea of expanding upward, even into space -- if someone could figure out how to do that and make it look nice. Expanding side to side is cool as well.

I dont care, this is all fun!

Why dont we just keep adding like the way we have? I enjoy the ability to place something anywhere and play off others' stuff.

Plus, roll canvas III is on its way

edit: if you eventually expand the canvas to the size of the calendar images, this would make a good entry for next years calendar... Just a long term thought though. I like going slowly because the crampedness (yeah, thats a word) of this is nice

again, why doesn't someone just start a new battle? the arena would be a really lame place if we could only have one photoshop battle at a time. this was a great idea and experiment, and based on the positive response i think a new one wouldn't hurt. in my opinion expanding this one (if only because there are already buildings half designed on the borders) is a bad idea. start fresh with a massive palette!

So here is what I was talking about in regard to texture and shading on the museum. It's really just a matter of suggesting some shapes using pixels of a different color or luminosity.

With all these jet-powered vehicles flying around I thought we should make sure there is a steady fuel supply.
