having a slice is like saying having pizza.

and if someone ever says "wanna go halves on a pie?" hes also talking about pizza.

I always thought it was odd that people from the east coast say "pie" for pizza. Thats okay, because they think it is against the laws of nature to have chicken and broccali on my pizza

Today for lunch: Red curry and rice. Yum!

I had crappy cafeteria wannabe chinese for lunch, it wasn't to good. Last week I had sweet and sour chicken from a real chinese place... but it didn't agree with me.

Pie is something we definitely don't say where i'm from. Getting a 'slice' is a bit off here too...not all us east coasters are that dumb . Although we do say Pop here instead of soda or coke.

As for me...chicken noodle soup (homemade) and a tuna samich.

    Chili Dogs and Beer.

and no, I am not taking pictures.....Chili Dogs only look good if you spray them down with shellack.....and I'm hungry.

Chinese tonight though, going out. Tomorrow night were having the Miso Soup and Raspberry Marinated Chicken suggested by gerbick in This Thread. I love living up here.....5 stores for one damn meal

I was referring to a few friends of mine from Long Island and Philly. Both of them are shocked and appalled if I have anything other than traditional pizza toppings on pizza.

Oh and apparently "we don't know how to make pizza around here" and "All I want is a real bagel, is this to much to ask?"

Yeah, sorry ghostgirl...your east coast friends are right. I've never eaten in California, but i'm sure it'd be the same thing if you came to the east coast...we probably don't have the right kind of Rice-a-roni or the right herbal treehugging tea.

I need to plan a road trip...

well if you were to come to massachusetts you would be let down by the total lack of crispy cream donuts.

Good, those fat producing machines shouldn't be anywhere in the world.

I cant' even stand their donuts. They're too fluffy and not even worth eating. Although I drool a bit watching the donuts go through the glazing machine...MMMMMM, i can feel my arteries tightening and my diabetes setting in just watching that sugary goodness.

Are in insinuating that because I am from San Francisco that I eat that crappy Rice-A-Roni? If I ever ate rice from a box my Mother would whoop my butt.

And yes - I am already very upset that you don't have my hippy loving, tree hugging, herbal infused tea. And MA doesn't have Krispy Kremes!? How do you live?

    Literally.

*joke assumes the person eats a sufficient amount of donuts. actual number may vary from person to person.
