    navigation problem

    I am have navigation problems, and it seems simple but for the life of me, i can't figure it out. I can get the "gallery" button to work but i can't get the others to work. i appreciate any help i can get.

    Here it had to do with missing instance names. I know you gave them names in that last frame, but flash was trying to assign them to earlier instances that had no names. I simply added the same names that you provided and they seem to be working now. See attached

    This will happen somtimes when you use the

    buttonName.onRelease = function ();

    There is some rule about where the instance name has to be defined when you use this syntax. Sometimes it is safer to put the script directly on the button.
