    Perform Search in glossary

Im creating a glossary. It has a listbox that list out all the terms and also has a search feature where user may enter the term to be searched in a input text box and then click a button to perform the searching. If the exact term found, the term in listbox will be highlighted and its respective explanation will be show too. In order to do that, what should I do?
Hope someone could help me. Thanks in advance.

Well, you should open the Help pane in the Flash application and look for the String class reference.
All the functions you need to do that are in there.

Flash's reference is one of the best. Best way to help yourself is to learn how to use it.

    Cheers

    p.s.
Maybe one day Flash will have fulltext search capabilities, and it may be soon, judging by the amount of API's that have been developed.. that day will be really cool.
