    At least with me Maya was pretty hard to figure out. It have been because I was so used to using Max. But the interface in Maya is pretty complex compared to the other 3D programs.

    I'd really have to say Autodesk/Discreet 3ds Max 8.0. Maya, while likely as powerful, has the hardest learning curve of any program I've seen. 3D Max is just as capable of anything any person would ever need short of Lord of the Rings, and usable for the normal joe after a couple hours of learning to do basic things.

    welcome aboard grandmaster... there's a slight problem.

    Per the rules, 300 pixels wide by 40 pixels high is the allowable footer size here at Flashkit.

    I've started to use Maya - I purchased a second hand copy. The learning curve is extremely steep but it is worth it.
