My little brother scored 59 this weekend; by the time he was out his team was only on 69. There was no way I was going to go round to the other side of the oval each over but I still got some good shots even from behind him.
Both taken in shutter priority at 300mm for 1/1000s with ISO 800 then run through Neat Image.
F9.5 - I wish it had shallower DOF but the light was changing a lot so I stuck on ISO 800 which closed the aperture a bit.
EDIT: Have a look a bit lower down for a fixed up version with shallower DOF
Cause I had been living in England for more than a year I know this game, well not the rules actually...I know there are people who do! LOL!!!
I am pretty sure it is the most boring sport to watch if you are used to soccer or motorbike-racing, but you really gave it some thrill and action!!
Great shots from this "sport"!!
Now you can kick me!!
Or hit you with a cricket bat I can actually understand more why you would think it was boring than I understand why we all enjoy it. Any game that can go for 5 days straight and still not have a decision is a little crazy to say the least.
Golf is definitely worse and there are people who would argue that watching cars/bikes go round a track 60 times is boring. I personally don't find soccer that great, probably because I never played much myself.
I'm not too happy at the moment seeing as South Africa was just knocked out of the VB series here in Australia
