    your exercise routine

I remember back in the day there was a thread about excerising but figured I would start a fresh one. So if anyone of you missed it I am now in the singles game and have nothing better to do except improve my life. So I have been hitting the school gym(pretty decent actually) So far I have just been biking. But come next week I will be running and then bike and throw in some basic sit up / pushups. I am just trying to build endurance and slim down this stomach first semester gave me. So what do you all do weekly?

I am starting weight training once summer starts with my friend who oges to another school. So just endurance type stuff for now. Then toning over the summer.

Kinda what I am doing. Just basic endurance stuff to slim down. I can't wait for the summer and get my arms more toned and get this stomach gone. I am just way more active at home and always out during the summer(like finish that damn addition on the house that is 2 years and still going). It is amazing how much working out makes you feel GOOD afterwards

That's called endorphins. Has an affect on mood and motivation.

My new complex has an awesome workout center. I've been hitting the bike a little but soon will start some weight trianing too.

I've studied many styles over the years. Kinda my own hybrid of what I liked from each one.

    The styles I've studied are:
Tae Kwan Do - a general requirement
Judo - one of my favorite styles
    Kendo - Gotta love swords
    Aikido - Just painful
Kung Fu - I find this style very calming
Jujuitsu - Japanese Karate much like Tae Kwan Do without the big kicking
Ninjitsu - More like.....come and get your ass kicked 3 days a weeks
    Kickboxing - Balls out bashing

    everything.
general: date, day, weight (i should be doing resting heart rate and BP as well.)
elliptical: calories, time, program, level, miles (km and meters), heart rate, % heart rate.
floor: pushups, situps, back pushups, stretching, triceps, biceps, chest
swimming: laps by stroke (free, breast, back)
    tennis: time, score

it's our neighborhood pool, not the public pool (slight difference).
i don't get grossed out by pools, but hot tubs are another story...

i lift weights more than slim down, i don't lift big weights to look like Arnie. About 5 days at the gym doing

    -arms
    -shoulders
    -chest
    -back

Does the trick. After my gutbuster 3000 thread i decided to do an Ab routine, i do the first two, thats about it. link

6 am - 8 am - workout with trainer (60 minutes conditioning, 1 hour weight work which varies each day, including shoulder, ab, and leg work).

12 pm - 3:30 pm - team practice. Position players do most of the heavy workload here. I'm a pitcher, which means I stretch, play catch, do throwing drills, fielding drills, then hit ground balls to the infielders for 45 minutes. Then we condition, which varies from a 2 mile run, 15 sprint-walks, all while incorporating "core" work (abs, flexors).

This is M-T, Friday's we wake up at 6 and throw bullpens off a mound to catchers, then do conditioning and weight work in the afternoon. Saturday morning we condition as a team.

Ah, the life of a college baseball player.
