Does anybody else know the Olympics are on?

It seemed like today's events were filled with a lot of crashes and injuries in luge and skiing. And then there was the particularly brutal looking crash landing one of the chinese pairs figure skaters took - looked like she landed on the ice in the splits, ouch!

Coverage in the U.S. sucks. They spend more time on backstory than the events. I didn't even get to see Shaun White's gold medal run.

Hockey? Airs in the afternoon, no tape delay, no re-runs. All we get is figure skating in prime time.

What every happened to the days when all the major networks split the coverage up so you could choose what you wanted to see? I thought this was the age of consumer choice.

i bet they offer the split coverage on digital cable or satellite...but i bet you have to pay big $$$ to see it. Honestly, I'd love to see Olympic Hockey...it's too bad the majority of our country really doesn't believe in hockey. It hasnt' ever become our 'sport'. It's just like football to other country's...hasn't become a tradition to watch it.

I think they ought to give away more medals. You know, so everyone gets something. Even the worst olympic skater is better than most others. So it should be something like Gold, Platinum, Silver, Bronze, Copper, Lead, Aluminum, Wood, Rubber, Laquered Bagel.

I couldn't help but watch the United States women's curling team. I mean, the sport is intense; and to top it off, the entire team is full of young, attractive girls!

seriously think about that for a sec. It may be fun at first, but you really want a job where you prance around in tight pants and the world assumes you're gay? There are other places where you can touch booty, like the strip club.

Looking at that picture, it seems to me there is something distinctly missing there, kind of barbie-doll-esque if you know what I mean.

I hate to be unpatriotic, but I'm rooting for the Czech Republic and Swedish national hockey teams. A gold for either of those bodes well for the Rangers, and Chris Chelios is the biggest ass in hockey next to Roenick.

What? It was on NBC. I saw the entire competition including all of Shaun White's runs. It wasn't even on any of the special channels. Just plain old NBC. If you missed it then it is your own fault.
