    Ford Edge ... sweet animation

    http://www.fordvehicles.com/futureve...dgeFV.com_0206

Yet another mini site for fordvehciles.com ... not sure who did it (2A, FI or other) but it's one of the better ones they've done animation wise ... content is limited because it's a teaser for a new vehichle later this year.

How much you wanna bet it's a hybrid!?

    Yeah - that's beautiful

Very nicely executed i thought - i assume it's 2A, they seem to be in bed with Ford. Car looks nice too, cross between an audi people carrier and the alfa brera

Err........why.......why.......why oh why......was such a text effect used in the intro wasted on a white background????????? That's pure AE I know, and it'd look a bajillion times better if it was applied on black bg throughout the intro......
(NOTE: it's been applied once with a black bg and that looks a lot better)

The effect worked on the white in my opinion. There were a lot of wash-outs in the intro.

Funny enough, a few years ago everyone said Flash intros were dead. They seem to be making a slight comeback.

Half of the site seems pointless. Why have these hotspots and 3D car transitions to go to sections with 1 jibberish sentence in it?

I think it's called advertising, hype, teasers ... you know, attention grabber.

Not every web application is supposed to have links that go to a dictionary of text, especially on a promo page for a new car.

    Context people.
