I wouldn't require a change in screen resolution. It's a rarity that a site can talk me into changing mine from 800x600 -- I will leave instead. Perhaps you find that to not be troublesome to your viewers, however.

It's nice to see a site concentrating on its content. ;-)

    Apologies

This was meant to be a reply to Puresin, not a new thread. Sorry.

    tbchmpion...

the design should depend on the content, not otherwise.

maybe i set up a second version of my site compatible
    to 800x600 resolution...

when i can make the time...

    Agree wholeheartedly

    Agree wholeheartedly.

I'm new at learning Flash, and I've spent this past week reading the posts here and at another forum, looking at what's being created out there. Have to say I've been mostly unimpressed. Seems most care about what little "cool" thing they can do with Flash rather than give us an aesthetically pleasing (even knockout) design with substantive content and easy navigability. It is NOT cool to confuse your viewers, it's NOT cool for them to guess how to navigate a site, and it's NOT cool for them to find there's nothing really there. Yet this is exactly what many are doing -- hence my compliment to you.
