FileReference fileupload doesn't work with large files

    Hello everyone

I am encountering issues with uploading larger files (10megs) to the server with flash 8 's FileReference class. The small files work perfectly. Once it gets a little larger 8 or 9megs the upload fails and nothing ends up on the server.

I am using php in the backend.

I talked to the database / server people and they said the server should be set up for fileuploads up to 20megs.

Does anyone have experienced this problem?

    Any insights or suggestions?

    Thanks

    stephan k

I would ask your server people to check again. I was having a similar problem. Our admin said that PHP was setup for 50MB uploads but when he finally checked it was only set for 5...apparently he didn't type the 0. You could also create a PHP script to just upload a file and try it to see what happens.

I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.
