Finding the Previous Steps?!?!
I made this graphic as an experiment, and now I can't remember how I made it. Is there a way I can go back and check to see how I made it???
Here's the graphic, maybe somebody will know how I made it:

You're kidding right?
New layer,
either copy and paste the bitmap you want in that laer (short cuts : Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V) or drag from the origonal image into the window for the one youre working on (this will automatically create a new layer)
Transform (Short cut CTRL + T) rotate image,
You probably used a drop shadow to make it float (the one on the first image looks like a defult drop shadow to me) So : Double click on your layer, when the dialoge box appears select drop shadow and click ok.
Select your text tool (Shortcut T)
Click and start typing (this will create a new layer automatically)
Again double click on the layer to bring up the options for that layer and chose drop shadow.
Done.

Oh thank goodness for that.
I was just about to hit you with a book or something.
NO idea.
Looks like a pattern overlay to me.
Did you use a brush tool?
Or just filters and fills?

Hmmm ok.
I just tried to do this with filters.
If you fill a layer with white, put a craquleture filter on it, use the wand tool and remove the embossed bits, trhen double click the layer and add a pattern overlay (I used wrinkels and pushed the scale waaaay up) then duplilcate the layer, give the underlying layer a guase blur.
Then make a new layer, fill it with white, do the same thing again, but no blur and add a defult drop shadow to it, move that layer slightly, then merge the two layers, you have something that resembles the effect.
Pen and paper, your best friend while experimenting.
