    I have 39 thumbnail images divided into 3 columns of 13.
    The origanal image(s) size is 350x263. I can`t seem to figure out
    how to show the original size when you mouseOver the thumbnail.
    Example:
    thumbnails []

    [] [] [] [-----------------------------------------------------------]
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] [] 350x263 image here
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] []
    [] [] [] [-----------------------------------------------------------]

    would i create a MC for each of the thumbnails and then
    Code:
    on (rollOver){
        gotoAndStop(2);
    }
    p.s.
    I have taken the 39 originals and put them on a layer

    if the thumbnails are the the original pictures displayed in small ... then it means you are loading all the original size pictures in advance ... so what you can do is after loading all the pictures just use the bitmapData to paste each of the movieclip with the original picture to make a copy of it.. reduce the size of this copy and use it as thumbnails .... bit confusing... but will work....otherwise if the thumbnails and the original pictures are of different size then simply load the original picture for the rollover... can't say about the result ... depends upon the net speed and the picture size... this is all what I can think.... if some other idea will come to my mind ... will share with u..

    YoU lOsT mE tHeRe ...why do I need two copys of the thumbnail ?

    The 39 thumbnail are already made into MC from the original image.
    I just can`t finger out how to load the original image size (350x263)
    from the thumbnail.
    Is there a way to just resize the image using Action Script like "on (rollOver, release)?

    any suggestion on a tutorial or any other way to do this? I have to make 5 or more galleries like this.
