    Enclosed Movie Mask

    Say for example I want to use a donut movie clip as a mask. It works fine if I use plain vector shapes, but when I put it in a movie clip, the center gets filled in. How do I keep the hole in the center from uncovering the masked layer?

    If anyone can help, it would really... help...

    You may want to check out the setMask() method. I thnk its used for movieclip mask's.

    That's what I've been using
    The masks work fine, but the center is filled in.

    Does the movieClip mask do any kind of animation or have you used anykind of script on it?
